English Speech
& Drama Curriculum
A hybrid, step-by-step curriculum infused with storybooks, educational music, acting, edtech and so much more.
Let’s plan a session
Stories are just the beginning.
Our English Speech and Drama Curriculum brings well-loved storybooks into the classroom through educational music videos, matching games, drama activities and hands-on experiences. Children practise speaking, listening, imagining and working together.
Plan. Prepare. Practice. Perform.
Our 4P’s Methodology guides children from discovering the characters and story to performing it with their classmates. A supportive setting gives them opportunities to express ideas, try different roles and build confidence.
A whole bookshelf of possibilities.
- Make-Believe Rabbit Adventures: The Tale of Peter Rabbit, The Adventures of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, and The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies by Beatrix Potter.
- Curious George Adventures: stories by H. A. Rey and Margret Rey.
- Endearing Elephant Stories: Elmer and Babar stories by David McKee and Jean de Brunhoff.
- Harold and the Purple Crayon: imagination and exploration through Crockett Johnson’s story.
Learning that carries on beyond class.
The curriculum combines classroom experiences with edtech resources that support learning at home. “Quiet, Ready, Listen” flashcards help reinforce focus and listening, while props, picture cards, music and movement support active participation.

What is the 4P’s Methodology?
Plan, Prepare, Practice and Perform. Children explore a story, build the language and skills to tell it, practise together, and bring it to life through performance.
Can Acts of Life come to our school?
Yes. Get in touch with your school name, children’s level, preferred dates and group size. Our team will help you explore a suitable school programme and confirm arrangements.
Let’s bring a little magic
to your school.
A story, a song, a spark of confidence. It all starts with a conversation.
